In Case You Missed It: LIVE Event with LA Cougar Experts

On Monday, August 26, NATURE hosted a YouTube LIVE event in Los Angeles in conjunction with our latest WILD HOPE episode “Cougar Crossing,” which went live on August 12. The episode centers on Los Angeles’s celebrity cougar P-22, who inspired an effort to build the world’s largest wildlife crossing and helped spark a national campaign to support crossings and corridors everywhere.

NATURE’s digital lead Danielle Broza moderated the discussion between Beth Pratt, California Regional Executive Director for the National Wildlife Federation, WILD HOPE executive producer Sarah Arnoff, National Geographic photographer Steve Winter, and National Park Service biologist Jeff Sikich. They have all worked behind the scenes to bring P-22 and The Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing to the front lines of conservation and advocacy groups nationwide.
